Atlanta Youth Academy to spend $6,370,000.00 to occupy 34,596 square feet of new space in Atlanta Georgia.
Atlanta, Georgia — According to state and local economic development sources Atlanta Youth Academy plans to invest $6,370,000.00 to build out new space in Atlanta. The company is creating new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2120 Forrest Park Rd SE in Atlanta, on or about 7/1/2020. According to the company website The Atlanta Youth Academy exists to advance the kingdom of God by offering an excellent Christ-centered education to low-income, urban communities. AYA began with one classroom, one teacher, and nine students; but the school grew quickly, adding students and grades each year, with the first eighth grade class graduating in 2004. Having outgrown the original space, AYA relocated to the Thomasville Heights neighborhood in 2007, where we continue to shine light within the community. Currently serving 150 students in pre-K through eighth grade, AYA offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum on par with top independent schools.
