San Luis Obispo, California — According to state and local economic development sources California Polytechnic State University plans to invest $11,200,000.00 to build out 30,000 square feet of new space in San Luis Obispo. The company plans to occupy the new space at Mt Bishop Rd in San Luis Obispo, on or about November 1, 2021. According to the company website Cal Poly is located in San Luis Obispo on California’s Central Coast, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Our location gives students access to opportunities for hands-on research in agriculture, winemaking and distinctive coastal ecosystems as well as close proximity to tech, industry and the culture hubs in Southern California and the Bay Area.
