Kyle, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Favorite Brands plans to invest $950,000.00 to build out 50,000 square feet of new space in Kyle. The company plans to occupy the new space at 301 Vista Ridge Drive, Building 2, Suite 400 in Kyle, on or about December 1, 2021. According to the company website Favorite Brands was founded by the LaMantia Family. The LaMantia family got their start in the alcohol business in 1978 when the family patriarch, Joe LaMantia, purchased an Anheuser- Busch distributorship in McAllen, TX, L&F Distributors. With the help of his five children, Joe grew L&F to become the premier beer distributorship along the Texas and Mexico border. What started with one warehouse in McAllen, TX with 20 employees, grew to 13 warehouses and more than 1,200 employees in Texas and New Mexico.
