Austin, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Guadalupe Neighborhood Development Corporation plans to invest $30,000,000.00 to build out 155,000 square feet of new space in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2013 Montopolis Dr. in Austin, on or about August 1, 2024. According to the company website Guadalupe Neighborhood Development Corporation (GNDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that celebrates over thirty five years of service to its community as an affordable housing provider to families from East Austin. GNDC is dedicated to use its resources exclusively for charitable and educational purposes related to the development and rehabilitation of high quality affordable housing for low to moderate income families. GNDC also works for the improvement, revitalization and preservation of the residential neighborhood. GNDC is committed to respect the people it serves and is dedicated to improve the quality of life in the neighborhoods where it works. GNDC gives the highest priority to families with generational ties to the target neighborhoods. GNDC brings affordable housing solutions to people in need. We build Community Land Trust (CLT) homes that are sold at affordable prices to income-eligible households. We also offer rental homes at modest rates.
