Dyersburg, Tennessee — According to state and local economic development sources ERMCO plans to invest $12,000,000.00 to build out 8,000 square feet of new space in Dyersburg. The company is creating 150 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Dyersburg, on or about May 1, 2020. According to the company website ERMCO is headquartered in Dyersburg, Tennessee, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI), Little Rock, Arkansas. With all product lines made in the USA, ERMCO is one of the largest producers of oil filled distribution transformers and transformer components in the United States. ERMCO has been manufacturing single phase pole and pad transformers in the same building since its beginning in 1971.
