South Pittsburg, Tennessee — According to state and local economic development sources Lodge Manufacturing plans to invest $56,000,000.00 to build out new space in South Pittsburg. The company plans to occupy the new space at 204 E 5th St in South Pittsburg, on or about August 1, 2022. According to the company website Lodge is Americas largest and oldest manufacturer of cast iron cookware. Founded in 1896 and still family owned, our product catalog includes over 200 items, which we sell globally. Our offices and foundry, where we manufacture all of our seasoned cast iron cookware, are located in South Pittsburg, Tennessee (population 3,300), about 30 minutes west of Chattanooga.
