Amarillo, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Family Support Services plans to invest $3,000,000.00 to build out 12,000 square feet of new space in Amarillo. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2209 SW 7th Ave. in Amarillo, on or about January 1, 2023. According to the company website Family Support Services of Amarillo, Inc. is a 501(c)3 private, non-profit, multi-service agency that provides a comprehensive network of clinical, educational, and crisis services to over 20,000 people each year, including victims of family violence, human trafficking and sexual assault; at-risk children, families, and individuals in the Amarillo area; area residents in need of individual, group, marital, and family counseling, and veterans, family members and surviving spouses. Our wide variety of services also includes a Veterans Resource Center, a 24-hour Crisis Line, and an Emergency Safe House for adults and children escaping deadly situations.
