San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Reaching Maximum Independence plans to invest $1,100,000.00 to build out 18,000 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 8242 Vicar Dr in San Antonio, on or about July 1, 2022. According to the company website Established in 1982, Reaching Maximum Independence, Inc. has been serving the San Antonio community with inclusive and engaging programs for over 36 years. Mission Statement: The mission of Reaching Maximum Independence, Inc. is to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) reach their maximum level of independence. Vision Statement: Our vision is for all people with IDD to be able to reach their individual maximum level of independence. Philosophy Statement: RMIs philosophy is that of inclusion.
