Jarrell, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Jarrell Independent School District plans to invest $23,100,000.00 to build out 220,910 square feet of new space in Jarrell. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1100 FM 487 in Jarrell, on or about June 1, 2024. According to the company website Jarrell Independent School District is a fast-growth public school district, currently in the 4A UIL athletic division. Jarrell ISD the proud home of The Cougars. The district covers 84 square miles in the heart of central Texas, north of Austin, south of Waco, and east of Killeen on the 1-35 corridor. The district currently consists of four campuses. Igo Elementary and Jarrell Elementary are Pre-K through 5th-grade campuses, and both will have two-way dual language programs beginning in the fall of 2021. Jarrell Middle School includes grades 6th, 7th, and 8th, while Jarrell High School is home to 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
