Burnsville, North Carolina — According to state and local economic development sources Little Leaf Farms plans to invest $86,000,000.00 to build out new space in Burnsville. The company is creating 100 new jobs, and plans to occupy the new space in Burnsville, on or about December 1, 2020. According to the company website at Little Leaf Farms, we are committed to delivering the freshest, best tasting baby greens to New England salad lovers all year round. Our greenhouse is based in Devens, Massachusetts, allowing us to deliver our products to stores within a day of harvest. This is a big difference from the majority of lettuce that is grown on the West Coast, which spends a week traveling by truck to our local stores. In addition, we have carefully developed sustainable growing practices into our greenhouse to protect our planet. We hope you enjoy the fresh, delicious flavors of our baby greens!
