The company is creating 10 new jobs, and plans to occupy the new space at 120 Industrial Blvd. in Sugar Land, on or about April 1, 2020. According to the company website DetectaChem is a privately-held company and manufacturer of the rapidly deployable, handheld, intelligent, and easy-to-operate detection systems. Our products enable threat detection for safety and security operations throughout the world. They utilize proprietary patented technology to deploy automated colorimetric analysis of extremely small traces of explosive and narcotic materials.
