The Paideia School to spend $3,703,300.00 to occupy 15,880 square feet of space in Atlanta Georgia.
Atlanta, Georgia — According to state and local development sources, The Paideia School plans to invest $3,703,300.00 to build out 15,880 square feet of new space in Atlanta. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1509 South Ponce De Leon Ave Ne in Atlanta, on or about September 1, 2023. According to the company website Paideia is a private independent pre K to 12 school located in Druid Hills. Paideia was started in 1971 by a small group of parents who wanted a school that educated children with respect for their individuality. The school was founded on the idea that children have different interests and learning styles, and that they progress at different rates. The ancient Greek word Paideia conveys the concept of a child’s total education: intellectual, artistic, and social. After many years and considerable growth in size and programs, Paideia remains true to the ideas that inspired it and brought it into existence. Today, Paideia is the leading progressive school in the southeast. Paul Bianchi has been head of school since the school began.
