Honda Performance Development to spend $350,000.00 to occupy 6,350 square feet of space in Indianapolis Indiana.
Indianapolis, Indiana — According to state and local development sources, Honda Performance Development plans to invest $350,000.00 to build out 6,350 square feet of new space in Indianapolis. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2701 Fortune Cir in Indianapolis, on or about December 1, 2023. According to the company website Soichiro Honda’s love for racing transformed a small motor company into a racing legend. At age 22, Mr. Honda himself set a Japanese speed record of 75 miles per hour using a converted Curtis Wright aircraft engine. In that moment, Honda Racing was born. Honda Performance Development (HPD) specializes in engine design and production racing parts. HPD now offers high-performance equipment and upgrades of parts to grassroots motorsports and road racing enthusiasts. Racing has always been inseparable from Honda. Competition fuels our challenging spirit, ignites our best thinking and powers many of the imaginative ideas we bring to life. Then, we take what we learned on the track and apply it to every Honda on the road.
