Conroe, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Willis Independent School District plans to invest $63,000,000.00 to build out 177,464 square feet of new space in Conroe. The company plans to occupy the new space at 7373 Longmire Rd in Conroe, on or about 7/1/2024. According to the company website Willis ISD is a growing K-12 public school district nestled between the Sam Houston National Forest and Lake Conroe, 45 miles north of Houston, Texas. Willis ISD includes a pre-kindergarten school, six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. The district serves 8,800 students. Willis ISD encompasses 126 square miles in Montgomery County and 32 square miles in San Jacinto County.
