Data Foundry to spend $5,000,000.00 to occupy 30,000 square feet of space in Austin Texas.
Austin, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Data Foundry plans to invest $5,000,000.00 to build out 30,000 square feet of new space in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4100 Smith School Rd. in Austin, on or about November 1, 2024. According to the company website Data Foundry has deep roots compared to most colocation companies. Colocation is still a new industry, as many major colocation providers were established in the early 2000s. Data Foundry was established in 1994 as one of the first 50 ISPs in the U.S. and opened its first Internet Data Center (IDC) in 1995. The company finally began providing colocation services in 1999. Our experience as an ISP made our company the service-focused colocation provider it is today and formed our extensive background in networking and data center operations. Established in 1994 as Texas.Net, Data Foundry is one of the first Internet Service Providers in the United States. During our 25 year history, we have supported thousands of enterprise companies in virtually every industry, including high performance computing, energy, financial services, healthcare and technology firms.
