Fresno, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston plans to invest $8,100,000.00 to build out 22,022 square feet of new space in Fresno. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1031 West Sycamore Rd in Fresno, on or about May 1, 2025. According to the company website Since 1952, for 70 years now, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston has been providing a safe place for kids & teenagers where they can spend time after school & during the summer. Our Clubs are for children ages 6-17. Children can become members for only $5.00 annually. Fifteen Clubs are located in the Greater Houston region, including Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris and Waller counties. Through contributions from corporations, foundations, government grants and individuals, the Clubs are able to offer Houston-area youth a fun place to hang out with friends, enjoy a meal, participate in sports leagues, get help with their homework, learn computer skills, art skills and much, much more.
