City of Huber Heights to spend $18 Million to expand in Dayton Ohio.
Dayton, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, City of Huber Heights plans to invest $18,000,000.00 to build out 54,000 square feet of new space in Dayton. The city plans to occupy the new space at 5001 Taylorsville Road in Dayton, on or about December 1, 2025. According to the company website Huber Heights is a city in Montgomery and Miami counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city is named for Charles Huber, the developer who constructed a number of the houses that would later comprise the city. Suburban development began in the area in 1956. Wayne Township incorporated as the City of Huber Heights on January 23, 1981. Huber Heights continued to grow by annexing parcels in Miami and Greene Counties. As of the 2020 Census, the population of Huber Heights is 43,439.
