Lubbock, Texas — According to state and local development sources, StarCare Specialty Health System plans to invest $55,000,000.00 to build out 80,000 square feet of new space in Lubbock. The company plans to occupy the new space at 3002 E. 19th St. in Lubbock, on or about December 1, 2025. According to the company website StarCare provides access to a diverse array of specialty healthcare services that support and empower people as valued members of the community. As a state-designated mental health and intellectual disabilities authority, StarCare has the responsibility for the development, management, and oversight of a system of care providers that serves more than 8,000 individuals within the five counties of Cochran, Crosby, Hockley, Lubbock, and Lynn.
