CoHo Productions to spend $249,850.00 to expand into new space in Portland Oregon.
Portland, Oregon — According to state and local development sources, CoHo Productions plans to invest $249,850.00 to build out new space in Portland. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2257 NW Raleigh St in Portland, on or about December 1, 2024. According to the company website In 1995, Gary Cole and Robert Holden began a remarkable journey with the intent to produce Garys play Bodyhold, with Robert to directing. Their efforts yielded the production company and eventually the venue in which CoHo produces its plays. Bodyhold went on to earn a Portland Drammy Award nomination for Best New Play. CoHo Productions has gone on to do so much more. Extending the courtesy and serving as a platform promising Portland artists and companies of both the established and emerging variety is our mission and our pleasure. CoHo has launched the first productions of companies like Profile Theatre Project and Third Rail Repertory. We have produced over 10 World Premieres and more than 40 fully-staged productions in our 15 years of operations, earning us 19 Drammy Awards to date, each show garnering critical acclaim. Our unique Co-Production model has allowed for many artists to serve, not as hired hands, but as true collaborative partners in bringing their dream production to fruition.
