Middletown, Ohio — According to state and local development sources, Butler Tech plans to invest $15,000,000.00 to build out 28,000 square feet of new space in Middletown. The company plans to occupy the new space in Middletown, on or about January 1, 2026. According to the company website Butler Tech is one of the largest career technical schools in Ohio. Its passionate educators are on a shared mission of Transforming Lives to make our students career-ready and college-prepared. Our teachers serve more than 18,000 students daily on our five campuses and in classrooms within our 11 associate school districts. Today, Butler Tech connects students to career technical education in more ways than ever. We offer more than 200 unique courses across our high school campuses and within many of the regions high schools and middle schools. Nearly half of all students in grades 6-12 participate in at least one Butler Tech course. The local business community also supports Butler Tech students by providing real-world experience though apprenticeships, internships, and job shadowing.
