Southern University and A&M College to expand into new space in Baton Rouge Louisiana.
Baton Rouge, Louisiana — According to state and local development sources, Southern University and A&M College plans to build out new space in Baton Rouge. The company plans to occupy the new space at 801 Harding Blvd in Baton Rouge, on or about May 1, 2025. The Southern University and A&M College System is the only historically black university system in the United States. The system is comprised of five campuses- Southern University at Baton Rouge, Southern University at New Orleans, Southern University at Shreveport, Southern University Law Center, and Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center. Southern University is a comprehensive institution offering two-year, four-year, graduate, professional, and doctorate degree programs, fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC).
