Kaufman, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Kaufman County plans to invest $10,000,000.00 to build out 33,230 square feet of new space in Kaufman. The company plans to occupy the new space at 100 W. Mulberry Street in Kaufman, on or about August 1, 2025. According to the company website Founded in 1848, Kaufman County is located adjacent to Dallas County on the east and is home to more than 145,000 people, 16 cities, six independent school districts, two colleges, and thousands of thriving businesses. Kaufman County has recently been named by Business Insider Magazine as the third fastest-growing county over 100,000 in the nation and the second-fastest growing county in the state. Interstate 20 runs through the heart of Kaufman County which is located just 30 minutes east of Dallas, Texas, and just over two hours west of the Louisiana state line. Some like to say Kaufman County is where east Texas begins.
