According to the company website The inspiration for the name Low Tide Brewing emerged from a kayaking trip around Johns Island in 2012. Mike Fielding had long dreamed of starting a brewery and on March 12th, 2016, that dream became a reality when we opened our doors to the community. Since then, weve poured countless pints, hosted many exciting events both big (goat races) and small (indoor putt-putt), navigated global pandemics, and received tremendous community support.
