Strake Jesuit College Preparatory to spend $3 Million to occupy 6,500 square feet of space in Houston Texas.
Houston, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory plans to invest $3,000,000.00 to build out 6,500 square feet of new space in Houston. The company plans to occupy the new space at 8900 Bellaire Blvd. Unit 2 in Houston, on or about January 1, 2026. According to the company website Since our founding by Fr. Michael Kennelly, S.J. in 1960, Strake Jesuit has been educating boys from the Houston area to become Men for Others. Our commitment to excellence is seen in academics and athletics, in our retreat programs and our community service opportunities, in a wide range of extra-curricular activities all designed to help a boy grow to be a responsible man of faith. While Jesuits have been in Houston since 1960, we have been educating young men worldwide since 1540. For almost five centuries, Jesuits have known that education is a key way to serve God’s Greater Glory. Our mission is focused on graduating young men who, through our rigorous training, reflect our ideals of being intellectually competent, open to growth, religious, loving, and committed to doing justice.
