Aquilla, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Aquilla Independent School District plans to invest $8,000,000.00 to build out 19,000 square feet of new space in Aquilla. The company plans to occupy the new space at 404 N Richards in Aquilla, on or about February 1, 2026. The district operates one high school, Aquilla High School, that serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve. Aquilla High School participates in the boys sports of baseball, basketball, and football. The school participates in the girls sport of basketball. For the 2012 through 2014 school years, Aquilla High School will play six-man football in Class 1A 6-man Football Division I.
