
Rockdale ISD to spend $7 Million to occupy 33,000 square feet of space in Rockdale Texas.
Rockdale, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Rockdale Independent School District plans to invest $7 Million to build out 33,000 square feet of new space in Rockdale. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1700 Brazos Avenue in Rockdale, on or about December 1, 2025. According to the company website Rockdale is a friendly, progressive community located in the heart of Central Texas. Approximately 60 miles from Austin, Bryan-College Station and Waco, Rockdale is easily accessible in location. With a population of just over 5,500, the town is attracting new families in search of a small town life. Rockdale ISD has four campus for grades PreK through 12th. Our high school offers twelve programs of study and is classified as 3A under UIL.
