Amarillo, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Amarillo College plans to invest $7,650,000.00 to build out 36,563 square feet of new space in Amarillo. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1212 S. Polk St in Amarillo, on or about June 1, 2022. According to the company website Amarillo College delivers high-quality and affordable academic classes at six campuses, an outreach center, and a technical training center. Students acquire a solid foundation, whether they are looking to immediately enter the workforce or proceed to a university. Additionally, some 26,000 area residents regularly take advantage of AC’s plentiful assortment of professional development and personal enrichment courses under the umbrella of Continuing Education.
