Amory, Mississippi — According to state and local economic development sources Avid Boats plans to invest $1,600,000.00 to build out 80,000 square feet of new space in Amory. The company is creating 75 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Amory, on or about January 1, 2020. According to the company website Avid Boats makes 17-foot to 23-foot aluminum bass and center console bay boats. The company expects to build 750 boats next year and double that production by 2022.
