Queens, New York — According to state and local economic development sources Bartlett Dairy plans to invest to build out new space in Queens. The company is creating 165 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Queens, on or about October 1, 2020. According to the company website Bartlett specializes in food service accounts such as schools, hospitals, hotels and restaurants in addition to supermarkets, mom-and-pop groceries and other retail accounts.Milk and milk products are still our primary business. Most of the raw milk used by Bartlett Dairy comes from dairy farms in Pennsylvania and the Catskill region of New York and contain no antibiotics or synthetic hormones. Other distributors trailer milk out to other depots before it is moved to retailers. That translates to Bartlett’s milk often being two days fresher than that of its competitors.
