Bartlett, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Bartlett Electric Cooperative plans to invest $11,000,000.00 to build out 24,100 square feet of new space in Bartlett. The company plans to occupy the new space at 27492 State Highway 95 in Bartlett, on or about February 1, 2023. According to the company website Bartlett Electric Cooperative has been in operation since 1936 and, we are proud to be the first REA project energized in Texas and the nation. Bartlett Electric Cooperative played an important role in the modernization of the rural farms served by the cooperative, and we continue to be dedicated to providing quality service at the most economical price.
