Blue Fish Pediatrics to spend $1 Million to occupy 8,761 square feet of space in Katy Texas.
Katy, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Blue Fish Pediatrics plans to invest $1,000,000.00 to build out 8,761 square feet of new space in Katy. The company plans to occupy the new space at 23211 First Park Drive in Katy, on or about May 1, 2025. According to the company website In 1985, Dr. Woo Nahm Jung opened the doors to his private pediatric practice at Memorial City Hospital. By focusing on providing the highest quality care for his patients, Dr. Jungs solo practice quickly prospered. After completing his residency in 2002, his son, Dr. Peter Jung, eagerly joined his fathers practice. Two years later, Dr. Woo Nahm Jung would follow his calling to become a medical missionary to Asia, leaving the legacy of the practice to be carried on by his son. Although they attended different medical schools, Dr. Chris Pielops roommate at UTMB was one of Dr. Jungs close friends from high school, which allowed for the initial serendipitous meeting of the future Blue Fish founders. After graduating from the same pediatric residency class, Drs. Jung and Pielop ended up working in the same building, one floor apart, which led to numerous lunches and happenstance conversations in the hallways of the hospital and the eventual inception of Blue Fish Pediatrics.
