Blue Polymers plans expansion in Buckeye Arizona creating 60 new jobs.
Buckeye, Arizona — According to state and local development sources, Blue Polymers plans to build out 162,000 square feet of new space in Buckeye. The company is creating 60 new jobs at this facility. The company plans to occupy the new space in Buckeye, on or about June 1, 2025. According to the company website Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE: RSG), a leader in the environmental services industry, and Ravago, a leader in polymer recycling and distribution, in 2023 formed Blue Polymers, LLC, an innovative partnership that will help advance circularity in the plastics industry. Blue Polymers is developing a network of facilities designed to produce 100% post-consumer recycled products to supply plastic manufacturers’ growing demand for sustainable solutions. Through major investments in plastics recycling innovation, Blue Polymers will bring circularity and scale to the plastics recycling industry, producing more than 300 million pounds of high-quality recycled plastics every year. The companys state-of-the-art facility, located in the Midwest, is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2024. Three additional facilities will open over the next several years, which will enable Blue Polymers to recycle plastics from across the country.
