San Antonio, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Blue Skies of Texas plans to invest $4,200,000.00 to build out 44,750 square feet of new space in San Antonio. The company plans to occupy the new space at 12455 Freedom Way in San Antonio, on or about October 1, 2020. According to the company website Blue Skies of Texas is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in San Antonio, Texas. Formerly known as Air Force Village, Blue Skies of Texas consists of two campuses offering the full continuum of care. This includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and hospice care. Once open exclusively to the retired military officer, Blue Skies of Texas now accepts qualified seniors from a variety of backgrounds. Although military service is honored, it is not required.
