Bond Pet Foods to spend $2,000,000.00 to expand into new space in Boulder Colorado.
Boulder, Colorado — According to state and local economic development sources, Bond Pet Foods plans to invest $2,000,000.00 to build out new space in Boulder. The company plans to occupy the new space at 5445 Airport Blvd in Boulder, on or about September 1, 2023. According to the company website At Bond were working with some of the worlds most progressive veterinarians, scientists and technologies to understand how to take bigger leaps with pet food. Leaps that can lead to food that’s exceptionally cleaner, kinder and nutritious. Meat protein in all its forms can be a beautiful thing. It gives our dogs and cats the primary nutrition they need to thrive and its highly digestible and bioavailable. Yet sourcing meat sustainably can be a challenge. Dogs and cats are voracious consumers of animal protein, and its estimated that between 20-30% of the negative environmental impacts of meat production can be attributed to their daily consumption. That is, until now. Employing similar processes to those used in craft brewing, were able to harvest the same, nature-identical chicken, turkey, beef, and other high-value proteins that can serve as the foundation of pet food recipes, with significantly less resources and carbon intensity- and without harming other animals.
