Wichita, Kansas — According to state and local economic development sources Brek Manufacturing plans to invest $4,500,000.00 to build out new space in Wichita. The company plans to occupy the new space in Wichita, on or about May 1, 2022. According to the company website Brek Manufacturing Company specializes in the machining of complex structural components for the aerospace industry. Brek Manufacturing Company began operations in 1968 as a small machine shop. Today, they produce precision-machined and monolithic-designed parts for a variety of programs, including the C-17 Globemaster, the A380, 737, 777, and 787 commercial aircraft and the F-15 Eagle, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and the F/A-18 Hornet fighters. Production is accomplished using 5 Axis CNC Equipment with programs developed using our in-house Catia and NCL programming systems.
