San Augustine, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Broaddus Independent School District plans to invest $12,000,000.00 to build out 33,700 square feet of new space in San Augustine. The company plans to occupy the new space at 16405 State Hwy 147 in San Augustine, on or about September 1, 2025. Broaddus ISD includes two campuses, an elementary campus that houses PK-5 and a Junior High/High School campus that houses 6-12. There are between 200 and 220 students on each campus. Each campus includes a media center and a Chromebook cart for every classroom teacher. Classrooms are also equipped with Smartboards or Interactive TVs. The purpose of the Broaddus Independent School District is to empower all students to reach their utmost potential to achieve excellence in education and workforce.
