Phoenix, Arizona — According to state and local economic development sources CASA Academy plans to invest $2,104,964.00 to build out 22,623 square feet of new space in Phoenix. The company plans to occupy the new space at 8129 N 35th Ave in Phoenix, on or about April 1, 2021. According to the company website CASA Academy provides low income students with the early academic foundation and character skills necessary to graduate from college and succeed in life. At CASA we are not just a school, but a movement to raise the bar for education in Phoenix. CASA is unique in that it is part of the New Schools for Phoenix incubator program, a highly selective and competitive non-profit program devoted to expanding educational opportunities to all students throughout Arizona. At CASA, 96% percent of students qualify for free and reduced lunch, 67% are English Language Learners and 97% of the student body are students of color.
