Center, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Center Independent School District plans to invest $7,000,000.00 to build out 13,708 square feet of new space in Center. The company plans to occupy the new space at 624 Malone Drive in Center, on or about January 1, 2022. According to the company website Center ISD is a K-12 public education school located in the heart of the Piney Woods of East Texas. Located at the geographical center of Shelby County, Center is the county seat and the largest school district in the county. Rated a Conference 4A district in UIL athletic and academic competition with 6 campuses and over 2600 students.
