Temple, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Central Texas 4C Inc. plans to invest $2 Million to build out 10,000 square feet of new space in Temple. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1006 South 30th St. in Temple, on or about December 1, 2025. According to the company website Central Texas 4C, Inc. is a non-profit agency which has served Central Texans for over 50 years. Most people call us simply “4C” which stands for Community Choices in Children’s Care six. 4C operates twelve Head Start centers which annually serve over 500 children ages 0-5 in the cities of Temple, Belton, Killeen, Harker Heights, and Troy, Texas. (Check the LOCATIONS tab for each center’s ages served. Some serve only 0-3, some serve 3-5 and some serve 0-5.) Fort Cavazos, the largest military base in the free world, is adjacent to our cities. Some of our Pre-K centers are in collaboration with our ISD partners and we have some centers to serve student parents who are working hard to graduate from school. Our centers are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and are regularly honored by H-E-B’s “Excellence in Education” Award in the early childhood education category.
