Orange, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Chevron Phillips Chemical Company plans to invest $8,500,000,000.00 to build out new space in Orange. The company plans to occupy the new space in Orange, on or about April 1, 2026. According to the company website Chevron Phillips Chemical LLC is one of the worlds top producers of olefins and polyolefins and a leading supplier of aromatics, alpha olefins, styrenics, specialty chemicals, plastic piping and polymer resins. With approximately 5,000 employees, the LLC and its affiliates own more than $16.5 billion in assets, including 33 manufacturing and research facilities in seven countries. Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC is equally owned by Chevron U.S.A.
