Baytown, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources City of Baytown plans to invest $41,660,000.00 to build out 160,000 square feet for a new hotel and convention center in Baytown. The company plans to occupy the new space at Bayland Island in Baytown, on or about April 1, 2021. According to the company website The City of Baytown provides municipal government services to the residents, businesses, and guests of the Baytown Community. Baytown as it is known today was officially founded January 24, 1948.
