Denison, Texas — According to state and local development sources, City of Denison plans to invest $3,350,000.00 to build out 9,000 square feet of new space in Denison. The company plans to occupy the new space at 321 West Main Street in Denison, on or about February 1, 2025. According to the company website Denison, Texas, is located in northeastern Grayson County on U.S. Highway 75, just 75 miles north of Dallas and 4 miles south of the Texas / Oklahoma border. State Highway 120 passes through Denison from east to west and State Highway 84 borders northern Denison, providing direct access to Lake Texoma, which is the 12th largest man-made lake in the U.S. As of July, 2019, Denison’s population was 25,529. Residents enjoy a high quality of life with gently rolling and wooded terrain, which stretches northward to the shores of Lake Texoma and the Red River. Lake Texoma draws over 7 million visitors annually and is considered a lake for all seasons. It attracts boaters, wake boarders, water skiers, golfers, campers, hunters, hikers, bikers, birdwatchers, and anglers. It has 2 state parks, 2 wildlife refuges, 22 marinas / concessions, and 10 Corps of Engineers Class A parks. Grayson County is the 29th largest of 254 counties in Texas with a 2019 population of just over 136,000. Sherman is the county seat of Grayson County, while Denison, located adjacent, is the next largest city. Grayson County consists of 940 square miles with a population density of approximately 144 residents per square mile.
