Compass Rose Public Schools to spend $9,000,000.00 to occupy 45,000 square feet of space in Windcrest Texas.
Windcrest, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Compass Rose Public Schools plans to invest $9,000,000.00 to build out 45,000 square feet of new space in Windcrest. The company plans to occupy the new space at Crestwind Drive (BCAD #316417) in Windcrest, on or about August 1, 2021. According to the company website Compass Rose opened in August 2017 with a single mission: to prepare every student for college and the world beyond. Our academic program challenges students to fulfill their potential by pushing them harder than other schools are willing to push them. In middle school, that means every student takes a pre-AP curriculum that closes gaps and accelerates students ahead. In high school, students take at least six AP classes to ensure they are prepared for the most rigorous college courses. While academic achievement is our True North, we also support our students as they learn the character traits necessary to be good citizens in the classroom and in their community.
