Cypress, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Drake Plastics plans to invest $28,000,000.00 to build out 140,000 square feet of new space in Cypress. The company plans to occupy the new space at 14869 Grant Road in Cypress, on or about March 1, 2025. According to the company website Drake Plastics Ltd. Co. is a dedicated, lean manufacturer of Torlon & PEEK products. Founded in 1996, Drake Plastics pioneered the production of stock shapes from glass reinforced Torlon 5030 in support of the Javelin Missile Program.
