Austin, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Employees Retirement System of Texas plans to invest $1,500,000.00 to build out 27,143 square feet of new space in Austin. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1836 San Jacinto Blvd. in Austin, on or about February 1, 2021. According to the company website ERS administers retirement benefits; health and other insurance plans; TexFlex, a tax-savings flexible benefit program; and the Texa$aver 401(k) / 457 Program on behalf of employees and retirees of State of Texas agencies and higher education institutions.
