Lubbock, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Frenship Independent School District plans to invest $120,000,000.00 to build out 540,000 square feet of new space in Lubbock. The company plans to occupy the new space at 7004 43rd Drive in Lubbock, on or about January 1, 2026. According to the company website Frenship ISD is a community-centered district with more than 1,200 staff members dedicated to serving more than 10,800 students, rooted in pride and tradition since the first graduating class of 1936. Frenship has 14 campuses stretching across both the Wolfforth and Lubbock communities. Designated as a fast-growth school district, Frenships enrollment grows approximately 2-5% each year. To accommodate the growth, Frenship will add a second high school, fourth middle school, and ninth elementary over the next four years. Frenship ISDs mission is to educate and develop all students by providing a foundation to empower them to reach their maximum potential and realize their opportunity of choice.
