Kemah, Texas — According to state and local development sources, Galveston Bay Foundation plans to invest $12,500,000.00 to build out 18,087 square feet of new space in Kemah. The company plans to occupy the new space at 1725 N Hwy 146 in Kemah, on or about May 1, 2025. According to the company website The Galveston Bay Foundation was founded in 1987 as a nonprofit organization to preserve, protect and enhance Galveston Bay — one of the worlds most productive estuaries. Its balanced programs in advocacy, conservation, education, and research strive to ensure that Galveston Bay remains a beautiful and productive place for generations to come. Galveston Bay Foundation is a conservation nonprofit that has served as guardian of Galveston Bay since 1987.
