Baytown, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District plans to invest $1,500,000.00 to build out 67,600 square feet of new space in Baytown. The company plans to occupy the new space at 4454 I-10 in Baytown, on or about September 1, 2023. According to the company website Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District is a school district headquartered in Baytown, Texas and has six high schools (three traditional high schools; two specialty high schools; one alternative high school), five junior high schools, and sixteen elementary schools. In addition, the district is in the process of building its sixth junior high school, 17th elementary school, and a new San Jacinto elementary school. The district currently has nine auxiliary buildings which provide office and workspace for various operations and departments in the district. Goose Creek CISD serves nearly 24,000 students in the communities of Baytown and Highlands. As the largest employer in the district boundaries, Goose Creek CISD provides career opportunities to more than 3,400 people. Goose Creek CISD covers 134 square miles.
