Omaha, Nebraska — According to state and local development sources, Harms Oil plans to invest $897,600.00 to build out 17,600 square feet of new space in Omaha. The company plans to occupy the new space at 2020 N 011 St in Omaha, on or about 1/1/2024. According to the company website Harms Oil Company was founded by Duane Harms in 1976. With three trucks and three employees, Harms Oil set out to serve farm and commercial customers in the Aberdeen, South Dakota area. Along with the withdrawal of several major oil companies from the area in the early 1980s, came the opportunity to provide a needed service to those businesses left without supply. Throughout the following years, Harms Oil continued to expand, steadily building a reputation as the friendly people.
