Tomball, Texas — According to state and local economic development sources HPI Energy Services plans to invest $400,000.00 to build out 15,000 square feet of new space in Tomball. The company plans to occupy the new space at 14430 Medical Complex Dr. Ste. 100 in Tomball, on or about October 1, 2022. According to the company website HPI Energy Services, LLC traces its origins back to Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Engineering (HSDE) and Vosper Thornycroft (VT). HSDE developed a range of electronic gas turbine controllers for industrial and marine use in the 1960s and was later acquired by VT in 1995. When VT Controls withdrew from the industry in 2002, a team of former VT executives and senior engineers continued the business and formed HPI, LLC to provide control systems and mechanical services to industrial gas turbine users worldwide. In 2018, HPI Energy Services LLC separated from HPI, LLC to form a new engineering entity who continue to offer exceptional turbine services and PLC based control systems. HPI Energy Services, LLC, expanded its offerings of control systems and SCADA expertise to other industries such as: Hydro-Electric Plants, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Oil & Gas, Marine, and Nuclear.
